Your card number never touches MR MEATS. Payments are handled on our provider's secure checkout, and we only ever see whether the payment succeeded.

Not active in this version

This build does not take real payments. Checkout is simulated — no card is charged and no payment details are captured. The arrangements described below apply once payments go live.

Who handles your money

Stitch

Card payments and instant EFT

Card details are entered on Stitch's secure checkout and never reach MR MEATS' servers. We only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded.

Payflex

Buy now, pay later

If you choose to pay in instalments, Payflex assesses and manages that agreement. MR MEATS is paid in full up front and does not hold your credit information.

What MR MEATS can and cannot see

  • •We can see: the amount, whether it succeeded, and the last four digits of the card.
  • •We cannot see: your full card number, expiry date or CVV.
  • •We never store card details, so we cannot charge you again without you approving it.

What you are charged

  • •Item prices — already include MR MEATS' 18% service margin, the way most delivery marketplaces price their menus. The butchery is still paid its own full set price in full — the margin is MR MEATS' income, not a cut of the butcher's price.
  • •Delivery — R45,00 flat. This pays your driver.
  • •Minimum order is R250,00 in items, before fees.

You see the full total, itemised, before you pay. There are no surcharges added afterwards.

Buy now, pay later

If you pay by instalments, that is a credit agreement between you and the provider, governed by their terms — not ours. They may run a credit check. Missing an instalment is a matter between you and them, and MR MEATS is not party to it.

Refunds

If your meat arrives spoiled, short-weight or wrong, contact support within 24 hours. Approved refunds go back to the card or account you paid from — we cannot redirect a refund elsewhere. Refunds usually take 3–10 working days to reflect, depending on your bank.

Disputes

Talk to us first through Help & support — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. You keep your right to raise a chargeback with your bank regardless.
